International Summer Music Academy: Learn to Play Violin

 

Is this the summer your child begins their musical journey? The Learn to Play Violin program introduces young musicians ages 4-10 to the joy of playing a string instrument in a warm, supportive environment.

Designed specifically for beginners, this summer program focuses on building foundational technique, musical curiosity, and confidence through engaging, age-appropriate instruction. With guidance from experienced faculty, students explore the basics of violin in small groups while developing listening skills, coordination, and early musical expression.

No prior experience is required. Instruments and learning materials are provided, allowing students to focus fully on discovering the excitement of making music for the first time.

The 2027 program runs June 21st - 25th as a half-day camp, offering young learners a joyful introduction to what could become a lifelong love of music.
